POSCA PC-3M Pastel Paint Marker Set of 8 – opaque pastel shades for fine lines

The POSCA uni Paint Marker PC-3M Pastel set of 8 contains eight markers in soft pastel shades for drawing, lettering and decorating paper, glass, metal, plastic and wood. The bullet tip draws lines 0.9–1.3 mm wide, which suits details, lettering, patterns and outlines.

The set contains white, light yellow, apricot, light pink, coral pink, lavender, sky blue and aqua green. The ink is water-based, opaque, lightfast and odourless. Because it is opaque, even light shades stay visible on coloured or darker surfaces.

Using the marker

Before first use, shake the marker with the cap on and press the tip down on a scrap surface until the colour flows. Replace the cap straight after drawing so the tip does not dry out. On a dark surface, apply the light shades in two thin layers and let the first dry beforehand. This keeps the surface even and stops the colours running into each other.

Durability on different surfaces

On porous surfaces such as paper or wood, the ink is permanent. On smooth surfaces such as glass, metal or plastic, it can be wiped off again. This is handy if you want to put up a decoration temporarily. For items that are handled often, a porous surface is the better choice. Dry areas can be painted over.

With its eight soft shades, this set covers light, understated designs such as lettering, cards, illustrations and decorations. If you want strong colours, the PC-3M range also includes a set of basic colours and a 6+2 set.
