Faber-Castell Art & Graphic empty metal tin, 36 pencils, 3 trays

Faber-Castell Art & Graphic empty metal tin – pencil box for 36 artist pencils

The Art & Graphic metal tin from Faber-Castell is an empty pencil box for up to 36 artist pencils. You put together your favourite pencils yourself and keep them neatly organised. Spread the pencils over 3 trays (levels) so you can find the right one more quickly when drawing.

With outer dimensions of 195 × 130 × 40 mm, the tin is flat and fits in a drawer, portfolio or rucksack. The metal protects the pencils in transit better than loose packaging. According to the manufacturer, the box is designed as a tin for individual selections. The pencils are not included.

Which pencils fit?

Faber-Castell lists the tin as suitable for these pencil ranges. If you use pencils from other brands, check their length first: the trays take pencils up to 175 mm.

• Polychromos artists' colour pencils
• Albrecht Dürer artists' watercolour pencils
• Castell 9000 pencils
• Graphite Aquarelle pencils
• Pitt Graphite Pure pencils
• Pitt charcoal pencils for drawing and sketching
• Pitt pastel pencils

Using the trays

Sort the pencils by type or colour family, for example graphite pencils on one level and coloured pencils on the other two. The tin is empty, so you can also mix pencils from different ranges and change the selection at any time, for instance if you only want to take certain grades or shades for a project.
