Faber-Castell Perfection Eraser Pencils – precise erasing

The Faber-Castell Perfection eraser pencils (7056) are two erasers in pencil form for precise erasing. Use them to correct small areas in drawings made with graphite and coloured pencils and to correct carbon copies, without erasing whole areas along with it.

The pencils are sharpened at one end and approx. 175 mm long. Once they have become blunt, simply sharpen them again. According to Faber-Castell, the eraser is PVC-free and the packaging contains recycled plastic. Two pencils in the set are handy if you want one in your pencil case and one at your drawing table.

How to erase cleanly

Sharpen the eraser pencil until the edge is narrow enough for the spot you want to correct. Hold the paper down with your free hand and erase with light pressure in short strokes. How well colour can be removed depends on the pencil and the paper, so try it first at the edge of the sheet. Blow the eraser crumbs away rather than wiping them with your hand, otherwise the residue will smear.
