Faber-Castell AMBITION OpArt Black Sand – fountain pen with guilloché precious resin barrel and medium stainless steel nib
The Faber-Castell AMBITION OpArt Black Sand fountain pen with a medium nib is a pen for everyday writing and special occasions. The barrel is made of lacquered precious resin with an elaborate guilloché finish. According to Faber-Castell, soft sand tones form a geometric pattern of colour and shape. The cap, end piece and front piece are made of high-gloss chrome-plated metal, and the cap has a spring-loaded metal clip.
The stainless steel nib in size M (medium) writes a medium line. That suits notes, letters and signatures when you want neither very fine nor distinctly broad strokes.
Ink and filling
The pen uses a cartridge/converter system. An ink cartridge is already fitted, so you can start writing straight after unpacking. Further cartridges in various colours are available separately. If you would like to use ink from a bottle, you will need a converter, which Faber-Castell sells separately.
Who is this pen for?
The M nib is an all-rounder for everyday handwriting. The chrome-plated metal parts and the guilloché barrel give the pen a smart, formal look. It comes in a white gift box with a printed sleeve, so it also makes a good gift. The cap can be posted on the end of the pen. Push it firmly back on after writing so that the nib does not dry out.
