LAMY aion ballpoint pen in black – twist-action pen in aluminium

The LAMY aion ballpoint pen in black is a twist-action pen with an aluminium body, for everyday use at your desk and on the move. The body parts are seamless and deep-drawn, the surface is rotary-brushed with a satin matt black anodised finish, and the grip section is blasted. The pen therefore combines a brushed surface with a blasted one. The twisting mechanism extends the refill.

The designer is Jasper Morrison. According to LAMY, the aion series has won the German Design Award, the Good Design Award, the iF Design Award and the red dot Design Award.

Refill and clip

The pen is fitted with the LAMY M 16 large-capacity refill in medium line width with black ink. It is replaceable, so when needed you simply insert a new refill of the same type and keep the body. The stainless steel clip is spring-mounted and has an embossed logo on the side. You can use it to clip the pen to a pocket, exercise book or notebook.
