Faber-Castell Standard Ink Cartridges for Fountain Pens, Pack of 6

Faber-Castell ink cartridges – standard size for fountain pens, pack of 6

Faber-Castell ink cartridges are designed for fountain pens with a standard cartridge system. One box contains 6 cartridges. They suit school, the office and anything you want to write by hand in colour. Faber-Castell describes the ink as quality ink made in Germany.

The ink comes in several colours. Only the blue ink is erasable; all the other colours cannot be erased. If you need correctable writing for exercise books or exams, choose blue. Choose your colour from the options.

Will the cartridge fit your fountain pen?

The cartridges fit fountain pens with a standard cartridge system. Before buying, check your pen's instructions to see whether it uses this system. To change a cartridge, unscrew the barrel, pull the empty cartridge off the ink feed and push the new one firmly on, closed end first. This pierces the sealing ball inside the cartridge so the ink can flow. Push the cartridge on as far as it will go. Then screw the barrel back on. The ink often needs a moment to reach the nib.

Which colour should you choose?

Several colours are available for clean, even writing and bright colour. For school exercise books and notes you may want to correct later, use the blue erasable ink. The other colours are better suited to letters, sketches and creative writing, because they cannot be erased.
