Prym Cover Buttons Ø 11 mm – Metal Blanks with Tool to Cover in Your Own Fabric

With Prym cover buttons (art. no. 323214), you can turn your favourite fabric into matching buttons for your own creations. The 7 button blanks, Ø 11 mm, are made of rustproof metal and have a sturdy wire shank for sewing on. A suitable tool and detailed instructions come with the set.

A toothed rim on the inside holds the evenly stretched fabric in place. Depending on the textile used, the finished buttons are washable up to 60 degrees.

How to cover the buttons

The packaging shows a cutting template for cutting the fabric into a circle. Then stretch the fabric evenly over the blank so that the toothed rim holds it in place on the inside. The enclosed instructions show the individual steps. With light, thin fabrics the metal may show through; a denser fabric gives better coverage.

Choosing a size

Ø 11 mm is the smallest size of metal buttons in this series. Other sizes are available in Ø 15, 19 and 23 mm, each with its own pack quantity.
