Prym Tool Set 673134 – Fitting Jersey Press Studs in 8 and 10 mm

With the Prym tool set (art. no. 673134) you can fit jersey press studs Ø 8 and 10 mm to fabric. The set contains 4 fastening tools and instructions. It is an accessory for the Prym Vario Creative Tool and can also be used with the Prym Vario pliers or the Prym tripod (art. no. 673 130).

Jersey press studs are intended for thinner, stretchy fabrics needing a light to medium closing force, for example baby bodysuits and children's T-shirts. Pre-punching is not necessary.

Fitting jersey press studs

For each stud size you need two of the four tools. The instructions in the set show you the order of the parts.

• Depending on the size (8 or 10 mm), insert two of the four tools into the Vario Creative Tool.
• Position the fabric and press stud parts at the required place.
• Lower the lever until the press stud is secure.

Matching and storage

The blackberry-coloured marking on the packaging and tools shows you which parts belong together. You can also use the packaging for storage. The press studs themselves are not included. Choose Ø 8 or 10 mm to suit the garment and test the closing force on a scrap of fabric first.
