Prym tool set for Sport & Camping press studs, 15 mm (673135)

Prym tool set 673135 – fitting Sport & Camping press studs securely

The Prym tool set 673135 lets you fit Prym Sport & Camping press studs with a diameter of 15 mm. It contains 2 fitting tools and instructions. You insert the tools into the Vario Creative Tool; the press studs themselves are not included.

According to Prym, the Sport & Camping press studs close firmly and hold in sturdy fabrics such as canvas and leather. Typical uses are tent tarpaulins, sportswear and bags. The set is an accessory for the Vario Creative Tool (390 903). You can also use it with the Prym Vario pliers or the Prym tripod (673 130). The yellow colour marking helps you tell the tools apart.

Fitting the press studs

You need a suitable base tool: the Vario Creative Tool, the Vario pliers or the tripod. Insert the two tools from the set into the base tool, position the fabric and lower the lever. The exact order of the individual parts is given in the enclosed instructions.

What to know before buying

The set only fits press studs with a 15 mm diameter from the Sport & Camping range. For other sizes you need other tools. Before first use, test on a scrap of fabric to see whether the stud sits firmly in your material.
