Prym Laundry Buttons 17 mm White – for Boil Washes, Overalls and Bed Linen

The white laundry buttons from Prym (art. no. 311136) are plastic buttons, 17 mm in diameter, for textiles that are often boiled at 95 °C, for example work and household overalls, aprons and bed linen. The pack contains 16 pieces.

The buttons are hard-wearing, can be ironed, are mangle-proof and may go in the tumble dryer. Thanks to their neutral white look, they also suit blouses, shirts and other clothing where you want a plain button finish.

Sewing on the buttons

Sew the buttons on firmly through the two holes with sewing thread. Choose a thread that also withstands high washing temperatures, otherwise the stitching will not last as long as the button. On overalls and bed linen it is worth passing the threads through both holes several times and securing them well, because the buttons are put under a lot of strain during boiling and mangling.

The laundry buttons in this range come in white and transparent, and also in 15 mm diameter. At 17 mm, these buttons are slightly larger and easy to grip. Measure your buttonholes beforehand so that the diameter suits your textile.
