Efco floral wire Ø 0.70 mm – binding wire for wreaths and arrangements

Efco floral wire is a binding wire with a diameter of 0.70 mm and a length of approx. 35 m. You can use it to bind wreaths, secure arrangements and fix floral designs in place. The wire is raw and annealed, so it has no protection against rust. It may rust when wet.

The wire is wound on a wooden stick and unrolls easily. You only pull off as much as you need, and the rest stays neatly wound. At 35 m long, it is enough to bind several wreaths or arrangements.

Binding a wreath

Unroll the wire from the wooden stick and attach the end to the wreath base, for example a twig ring or straw wreath. Then lay bunches of greenery or flowers on top and wind the wire over them in even turns. Finally, twist the ends together and press them into the wreath so they do not stick out. Cut the wire with side cutters; it cannot be shortened easily with paper scissors.

Indoors and outdoors

As the wire is raw, it may rust when wet. Rust marks can show on pale flowers or ribbons. It is well suited to indoor work and to arrangements that stay dry. For outdoor decorations, you should work the wire in so that it is hidden.
