Glorex Eco Glycerine Soap with Aloe Vera is a transparent soap base for soap making. It has a skin-neutral base and is vegan. You melt it, colour it, add fragrance and pour it into moulds. This gives you small handmade gifts.

Because the soap is transparent, coloured soaps look clear and translucent. Choose the quantity from the options.

Pouring your soap

The soap base melts easily and can be reshaped. Here is how to proceed:

• Cut the soap into small cubes so that it melts evenly.
• Heat it in a bain-marie or in short bursts in the microwave, stirring in between. The mixture should not boil.
• Add colour and fragrance only at the end and stir gently to keep air bubbles to a minimum.
• Pour the mixture into the mould and let it set completely before removing the soap.

Good to know

It is best to add colourants and fragrance oils drop by drop and to check the effect on a small amount first. Use only products intended for soap or cosmetics. You can remove air bubbles on the surface straight after pouring with a little alcohol from a spray bottle. Do not use moulds and containers that you have used for soap making for food afterwards.
