HobbyFun silicone mould, round bowl Ø 20.5 cm

HobbyFun silicone mould, round bowl – casting mould for concrete, plaster and resin

With the HobbyFun silicone mould you can cast round bowls Ø 20.5 cm and 6 cm high, for example as a decorative bowl or a tray for jewellery and keys. The mould is made of flexible silicone and is easy to demould. You can use it for concrete, plaster, casting resin, ceramic casting compound and casting powder, and reuse it as often as you like.

The moulds are cast by hand, so small irregularities are normal. After demoulding, clean the mould with water and a little washing-up liquid if needed.

Casting the bowl

Before pouring, stand the mould on a flat, level surface, otherwise the rim of the bowl will be crooked. Mix the casting compound according to the manufacturer's instructions and pour it in slowly to keep air bubbles to a minimum. Then tap the mould gently so that trapped air rises to the surface.

• Let the compound cure completely before demoulding.
• First carefully loosen the silicone at the edge, then push the bowl out from underneath.
• The large diameter combined with a height of 6 cm gives a shallow, open bowl that is suitable for jewellery, keys or small items.
