Rayher silicone casting mould with 7 autumn motifs for Raysin, concrete and casting resin

The Rayher silicone casting mould Pumpkin, Mushroom, Leaf has 7 shapes for small autumn decorations: three pumpkins in different sizes, two mushrooms, an oak leaf and a maple leaf. You can cast Raysin casting powder, creative concrete or casting resin in it to make decorative pendants and table decorations for autumn.

The soft silicone is flexible and keeps its shape, so the mould can be used again and again. To demould, gently bend the mould open and push the pieces out. With a maximum motif height of 9 mm, the figures are flat. You can stand them up, stick them on or turn them into pendants.

Casting the motifs

Rinse the mould with water before first use. Mix the casting compound according to the instructions on the pack and fill it into the individual cavities. Then tap the mould lightly on the work surface so that air bubbles rise, and place it on a level surface so that the pieces are an even thickness. Leave the compound to dry or harden completely before removing it. Then bend the silicone mould open bit by bit and push the pieces out from underneath. Take care with the narrow mushroom stalks and the leaf tips so that nothing breaks off.

Quantities and care

For the whole mould you need approx. 150 g of Raysin casting powder 200 or approx. 200 g of creative concrete 5in1, according to Rayher. The mould is made of silicone and can be cleaned after demoulding with water and, if needed, a little washing-up liquid. Dry it before filling in the next batch of compound.
