Go Handmade rattle ring in blue – to crochet onto soft toys
The Go Handmade rattle ring adds sound to homemade toys: you can crochet it onto a soft toy, for example, or attach it to a homemade sensory toy. There are beads inside the ring that rattle when it moves. The blue ring has a diameter of approx. 63 mm and is made of polycarbonate (PC).
With an inner diameter of 35 mm, the ring leaves enough room to work stitches around it or to thread a ribbon through.
Working the rattle ring into your project
To crochet it, work double crochet stitches around the ring until it is completely covered, then crochet it onto your toy. This holds it firmly in place instead of just hanging it on. Pull knots and loops tight with care and check that the ring is secure before each use.
Care
The ring is not completely waterproof and should not go in the washing machine. If you have worked it into a soft toy that needs washing, remove the ring first. It is therefore worth attaching it with a loop that can be undone again.
