Faber-Castell Soft Touch Brush Set 1 – 4 watercolour brushes with soft grip

Brush set 1 from the Faber-Castell Soft Touch range contains four watercolour brushes for school and leisure: three round brushes in sizes 4, 8 and 12 and one flat brush in size 10. The brushes have a soft Soft Touch handle that sits comfortably in the hand, and synthetic hair with good colour release. The ferrule is made of metal and is seamless. With four sizes and two shapes, you have the main basics covered without having to put a selection together piece by piece: details, lines, areas of colour and straight edges.

Which brush for what?

The size 4 round brush suits fine lines and small details. With size 8 you paint medium-sized motifs and outlines, and with size 12 you fill larger areas and lay in colour gradients. The size 10 flat brush suits even areas and straight edges.

Care

After painting, rinse the brushes in clean water and leave them to dry lying flat. This keeps the brush tip in shape and stops the hairs from bending.
