Prym Cotton Tape 15 mm White – All-Purpose Tape in 100 % Cotton

Prym cotton tape in white (art. no. 904611) is an all-purpose tape made of 100 % cotton for the home and sewing room. You can use it for laundry and name labels, for decoration or for repairs. According to Prym, it is pleasantly soft and sturdy at the same time. The 15 mm width gives enough space for writing while staying discreet.

The pack contains 5 m. You can cut it into as many labels or lengths of tape as you need.

Which width and colour?

Prym offers the cotton tape in several widths and in the colours natural white, white and black. This tape is 15 mm wide and white. The 10 mm version (white or black, also 5 m) is narrower, and the 20 mm version in white, 3 m long, is wider. For name tapes in clothing or decorative ribbons that are meant to stay visible, 15 mm is a good medium width.

Using the tape

Cut the tape slightly longer than needed and fold the ends over once before sewing them down. This stops the edges of the cotton tape from fraying. For laundry labels, stitch the tape down along the edges; for repairs, lay it over the damaged area and sew it down all the way round.
