The LYKKE Pendulum yarn holder keeps your yarn cake on a stand while you knit or crochet, so the yarn turns freely and you don't have to pull it from a basket or your lap. The stand is made of dark brown Shisham wood, also known as Indian rosewood.

The spindle has a magnetic tip. You push it through the yarn cake and let it cling to the pendulum arm. To change yarn, simply lift it off again. A fabric bag for storage is included.

Using the yarn holder

Place the yarn holder on a flat surface next to you. Take out the spindle, push it through the centre of your yarn cake and put it back on the pendulum arm with the magnetic tip. As you work, the yarn cake turns and the yarn feeds out smoothly instead of tugging at the ball. This is handy whether you pull yarn from the centre or from the outside, and it stops the ball rolling across the room.
