Clover iron-on fusible tape, 10 mm wide, 12 m roll

Clover fusible tape 10 mm – for iron-on bias binding and fixing fabric

The Clover iron-on fusible tape (art. no. 4042) is a fusible web tape, 10 mm wide, with 12 m on the roll. You feed it into Clover bias tape makers and fuse it with the iron in a single step to make iron-on bias binding. According to Clover, the tape keeps the fabric soft and preserves its handle.

You can also use it to hold appliqués or fabric pieces in place temporarily before you sew them on. This is useful when pieces should not shift while you sew.

What you can use the fusible tape for

The tape makes it easy to make fusible bias binding that you can iron on again later. Clover also lists fixing appliqués and Celtic and stained-glass quilts as uses. As the adhesive comes as a fine web, the fabric stays soft.

Use and choice of width

The tape is applied with the iron in the bias tape maker. You will find detailed instructions for use on the enclosed leaflet. Besides this roll, 10 mm wide and 12 m long, the fusible tape is also available in the series in 5 mm width and 25 m.
