The sew-all thread is 100% polyester, and the thread weight is No./Tkt. 100 (dtex 300(2)). The 10 reels give you a total of 1,000 m of thread. The thread suits almost all fabrics and seam types, including joining seams, topstitched seams, and overlock and safety stitch seams.

With the reels, you can sew topstitched and joining seams on the machine or finish edges with overlock and safety stitch seams. The hand needle set is for sewing on details, darning and embroidering. The 5 Schmetz Universal machine needles suit most woven fabrics. For jersey, denim or leather, special needles are the better choice.

Sewing tips

Fit a fresh machine needle for each new project: a blunt or bent needle causes skipped stitches and can damage fine fabrics. For very thick fabrics such as canvas or bag fabrics, use a stronger thread than No. 100.
