It contains a metal paint tin with 12 HORADAM AQUARELL half pans, plus everything you need for your first pictures: brush, brush soap, watercolour sponge, painting apron, postcard pad and a reusable takeaway coffee cup. The packaging is shaped like an XXL half pan in Quinacridone Magenta.

Because the paints and accessories come together in the set, you don't have to hunt down items separately. That also makes the set practical as a gift.

Getting started with the set

Before painting, moisten the paints in the tin with a few drops of water so that they soften, then lift the colour with the damp brush. Use the watercolour sponge to soak up excess water or paint from the picture and to create soft areas or textures. The postcard pad in 10.5 × 14.8 cm (A6) format offers 10 sheets for small motifs and hand-painted greetings cards. The painting apron protects your clothes.

Brush care and choosing within the range

After painting, wash the brush with the brush soap and lukewarm water, reshape the tip and leave it to dry lying flat. This keeps it usable for longer. If you only need paints without accessories, the HORADAM watercolour range also includes metal tins with 12, 24 or 36 half pans, as well as tubes.
