The LAMY 2000 taxus ballpoint pen is a retractable pen for everyday use, with a yew wood barrel and metal fittings in a palladium finish. Designed by Gerd A. Müller, the model has been around since 1966 and is still in the range today.

The push mechanism extends and retracts the refill with a single click. At 12 × 12 × 136 mm and 32 g, it is a handy pen for notes, signatures and diaries.

Refill and writing feel

A LAMY M 16 large-capacity refill in medium (M) line width and black is fitted as standard. The large-capacity refill holds more ink than a small standard refill, so you will not need to change it as often. When it runs out, get a replacement refill of the same type, LAMY M 16.

The wood

Yew wood is a natural material. Colour and grain can therefore vary slightly from pen to pen, and each ballpoint pen looks individual. The contrast between warm wood and metallic fittings also makes it a gift worth considering for anyone who loves writing.
