Product information
Faber-Castell TK Lead Sharpener – for TK Clutch Pencil and Compass Leads
The Faber-Castell TK lead sharpener (art. no. 184100) is a small, handy sharpener for TK clutch pencil leads and compass leads. It takes leads up to 2 mm in diameter, so it is the answer for clutch pencils and compasses where an ordinary pencil sharpener will not work.
The body is made of plastic and is compact enough to fit in any pencil case or compass box.
How to sharpen the lead
Extend the lead only a short way out of the clutch pencil or compass, insert it into the opening of the sharpener and turn it there with light pressure. This gives an even point. Too much pressure can easily break thin leads. There is a blade inside the sharpener, so take care not to reach into the opening when sharpening and storing it.
