Porcelain Mixing Palette, 29 Wells, 15.5 × 19 cm

Porcelain mixing palette with 29 wells for mixing paint

The porcelain mixing palette with 29 wells is a palette for mixing and keeping paints ready, for example watercolour and gouache. It measures 15.5 × 19 cm and has 28 half-round wells and one rectangular well. The half-round wells have a diameter of approx. 2 cm.

The white porcelain shows colours true to life, and the surface is resistant to solvents. You can therefore use the palette for both water-based and solvent-based paints.

Using the palette

Put one colour in each of the small half-round wells and mix intermediate shades in the empty wells. This helps you keep track of many colours, and your mixes stay separate. The rectangular well is used for mixing larger quantities or as a brush rest. The heavy porcelain does not slip as easily as a plastic palette.

Cleaning

The smooth porcelain surface is easy to clean and withstands stronger cleaning agents, solvents and mechanical scrubbing. Soak dried-on paint residues briefly in water before wiping them off. Porcelain is fragile, so take care not to drop the palette.
