KnitPro Cubics Deluxe interchangeable needle set, wooden square tips

KnitPro Cubics Deluxe – interchangeable needle set with square wooden tips

The KnitPro Cubics Deluxe set is a set of interchangeable circular knitting needles with square wooden tips. You attach the tips to swivel cables and knit in the round or work flat pieces such as blankets. The set contains 7 pairs of needle tips from 4.0 to 8.0 mm, four cables, end caps, cable keys, cable connectors and a storage case.

The tips have a square cross-section that runs into tapered points. The wooden surface is smooth, so the stitches glide well. The cables swivel through 360°, so they do not twist as you knit. Because you only change the tips, you do not need a separate circular needle for every size.

Assembling the set

Choose the tips in the size given in your pattern and screw them onto the cable whose length suits your project. Tighten the join with the cable key so that it does not come loose while you knit. For pieces that need more room, join cables together with the cable connector set. If you want to pause your knitting, screw end caps onto the ends of the cable so the stitches do not slip off.

Which projects is the set suited to?

The size range from 4.0 to 8.0 mm suits yarns of medium to thick weight, for example for hats, scarves, gloves or blankets. For very fine yarns, such as thin sock yarn, you need smaller needle sizes, which are not included in this set. The cables in 60, 80 and 100 cm help you choose: shorter cables are meant for small circumferences such as hats, longer ones for large stitch counts and flat pieces.
