addiClick Basic cables in three lengths with connector for circular needles

This addi set contains three cables of 60, 80 and 100 cm plus a connector. You can use them to turn addiClick needle tips into circular needles in the length your knitting needs. The cables are compatible with all addiClick tips and addiClick accessories. According to the manufacturer, the gold cable colour marks needles with Basic tips, but the cables also fit all other addiClick tips.

The cables are made of plastic, while the end pieces and the connector are made of brass (white bronze-plated). The needle tips are not included.

Which cable length for which project?

The total length of the circular needle is the cable length plus the attached needle tips. As a rule of thumb, the circular needle should be shorter than the circumference of your knitting so that the stitches are not stretched. With three lengths in the set, you can switch depending on the project without buying new needles. According to the manufacturer, the cables are intended for the Basic Long tips of 125 mm each.

What is the connector for?

The connector joins two cables to make a longer one. This helps with very large projects or when you want to try on your knitting as you go.

Assembling the needle

Push an addiClick tip onto the end of the cable and screw it on until it is secure. Do the same at the other end with the second tip. To change the length, unscrew the tips and fit them onto a different cable.
