Prym shirt and pyjama buttons 13 mm – pearl colour, washable up to 95 °C

The Prym shirt and pyjama buttons (art. no. 311211) are semi-transparent two-hole buttons with a mother-of-pearl look and a diameter of 13 mm. You sew them onto work and household overalls and onto pyjamas. They are made of polyester and are hard-wearing, even for laundry that is often washed at 95 °C. That is often important for work wear and bed linen.

The buttons have a plain design and go with coloured and white fabrics. One pack contains 24 buttons, enough to fasten several garments or to replace a complete button band.

Sewing on the buttons

Use a thread that suits the thickness of the fabric and pass it several times through both holes. With thicker fabric, lay a pin or sewing needle across the button and sew over it. This leaves a little space between the button and the fabric for the edge of the buttonhole. Finally, wind the thread a few times around the stitches under the button and fasten it off securely on the back.

Choosing the size

At 13 mm the buttons are fairly small and suit narrow button bands and lightweight fabrics. Prym offers these buttons in sizes from 13 mm to 20 mm. For larger buttonholes, choose a correspondingly larger diameter.
