Meyco wooden olive beads are oval wooden beads for macramé projects. At 22 × 32 mm they stand out clearly, and the Ø 10 mm hole is larger than on many other wooden beads. That means cords or doubled-over threads fit through as well. The pack contains 4 beads in dark brown.

The oval shape adds an elongated accent to wall hangings, plant hangers or lanyards. You can use the olives singly as a focal point or as a finishing bead, or thread them on with knots in between.

Using the wooden olive beads

Before threading, check that your cord fits through the Ø 10 mm hole, including where you pass it through doubled. If the hole is much wider than the cord, the olive slips easily. In that case, secure it with a knot before and after the bead. Wrap loose thread ends with a little adhesive tape beforehand, or cut them at an angle so they slide through the hole more easily.
