Rayher gold-coloured metal rings – round base for macramé, dreamcatchers and wreaths

Rayher's round wire rings are made of gold-coloured coated metal and provide the basic shape for macramé, dreamcatchers, crochet hangings, floristry and wall and window decorations. At 3 mm thick, the ring keeps its shape even when you wrap it tightly or stretch yarn across it.

You can leave the gold-coloured surface plain as an accent or decorate it with yarn, twigs and flowers. Choose the diameter from the options; the rings are available from 10 to 30 cm.

Which size for which project?

Smaller rings suit window hangings, pendants and small dreamcatchers. Larger rings work well for wall hangings, macramé projects or as a frame for wreaths. For a wreath, attach twigs or flowers to the ring with floral wire; for dreamcatchers, weave the web directly onto the metal.

Wrapping the ring neatly

Start with a knot or a piece of adhesive tape on the ring and wind the yarn closely, turn next to turn. This leaves no metal showing and nothing slips. If you want the gold to remain visible, wrap only sections and leave the rest bare.
