Cotton Wool Balls Mix – 300 pieces in six sizes for painting and crafting

The mixed pack of cotton wool balls contains 300 pieces in six sizes: 50 balls each in Ø 11, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 40 mm, in natural white. One pack covers a range of craft projects, such as animals, figures, flowers or decorative hangings, without having to reorder individual sizes.

The balls are white and can be painted with craft paint. The mixed pack works well for group activities in nurseries and schools, as each child can pick the size they need. The balls are drilled on one side.

Which size for what?

The small balls of 11 and 15 mm are suited to details such as noses, eyes, paws or small flower centres. With 20 and 25 mm you can make the heads of small figures or little animals. Use the larger balls of 30 and 40 mm for bodies, snowmen or hanging decorations.

Working with the cotton wool balls

To paint a ball, push it onto a cocktail stick or wooden skewer, then leave the paint to dry on a base that you can stick the skewer into. This keeps your fingers clean and stops the paint from smudging. Paint thinly and let each coat dry before applying the next, so the surface stays smooth. To join several balls or stick on details, use craft glue.
