Pastel sealing wax – 200 wax beads in 10 soft colours

The Graine Créative pastel sealing wax assortment contains 200 wax beads in 10 soft pastel colours. Use them to seal letters, invitations and certificates with a wax seal and the seal stamp of your choice.

The beads are 9 mm in diameter and 5 mm high. You heat them over an open flame and press the stamp into the wax. Depending on the size of the seal, you melt approx. 3 to 5 beads. With 200 pieces you have a supply for many seals, for example for a whole series of invitations.

Sealing step by step

Have the stamp and the paper ready before you melt the wax, because the wax sets quickly.

• Put 3 to 5 beads in a melting spoon and hold it over the flame until the wax is liquid.
• Let the wax drip onto the desired spot on the paper.
• Press the stamp straight into the wax without letting it slip.
• Wait until the wax sets before lifting the stamp.

Choosing your colour

Pastel colours look understated and suit wedding, christening or birthday post. They stand out more clearly on dark paper or envelopes than on white. Make a test seal on a scrap of paper to check the amount of wax and the colour effect before you seal the actual document.
