Soap insert labels – lettering to cast into your soap

With these three Rayher insert labels you can add lettering to your own cast soap: “Lächeln!”, “waschecht” and “Lieblingsstück”. Place the label in the mould before pouring, pour the soap over it and lift the label off again after turning the soap out. This leaves a clear, recessed impression, like an engraving.

The labels are made of natural rubber and can be used again and again. You can also use them when casting creative concrete or Raysin.

Getting the lettering into the soap

Choose a label and a mould it fits into. The label should lie flat on the bottom of the mould.

• Place the label in the mould with the design facing up.
• First spoon a thin layer of liquid craft soap over the label and press it down lightly.
• Then pour in the rest of the soap.
• Leave the soap to dry in the mould, then turn it out.
• Carefully lift the label off the soap with a fine needle.
• Clean the label with water and it is ready for the next cast.

Which label for which soap?

The three sizes, from 30 to 50 mm wide and 15 mm high, suit small bars of soap and gift soaps. The set gives you three messages: “Lächeln!”, “waschecht” and “Lieblingsstück”. The thin first layer of soap stops the label from slipping as you pour and keeps the impression clean.
