Glorex cork sheet 3 mm, 20 x 30 cm, natural cork

Glorex cork sheet 20 x 30 cm – natural cork for mats and noticeboard backing

The Glorex cork sheet is a rectangular sheet of natural cork measuring 20 x 30 cm and 3 mm thick. You can use it as a mat, as a backing for a noticeboard or as a material for crafting and decorating.

The sheet is flat and thin. This makes it easy to combine with other materials, such as natural materials, and to cut to size or shape for decorative projects.

Cutting and using the sheet

Mark the cutting line on the sheet and cut along a metal ruler with a sharp craft knife. Make several light cuts rather than one heavy one, so the cork does not fray. For a noticeboard, glue the sheet over its whole surface onto a firm backing or into a frame, because at 3 mm thick pins and needles can otherwise easily go through. The 20 x 30 cm size suits small noticeboards, memo boards and craft projects. For larger areas, the same sheet is also available in 30 x 45 cm.
