Rayher glass mosaic tiles in shades of green are square, through-coloured tiles measuring 10 × 10 mm, made for laying mosaics. The tub contains 1 kg, which is approx. 1,500 pieces. You can use them to decorate coasters, picture frames, flower pots or decorative objects in a single colour range.

Because the tiles are coloured all the way through, the colour is kept on cut edges when you split individual tiles to size. The shades of green are a mix of different tones. This makes the surface look livelier than a single colour would.

Laying your mosaic

The tiles can be glued onto surfaces such as wood, glass, metal, terracotta, ceramic, polystyrene or concrete. Choose an adhesive to suit the surface and apply it in small amounts so that it does not dry before you place the tiles. It is best to lay out the design dry first, then glue it down tile by tile. To fit tiles to curves and edges, split individual tiles with mosaic nippers. Wear safety glasses while doing so, as sharp-edged splinters are produced. Finally, grout the surface and wipe off excess grout before it hardens.

Green or blue?

The same mosaic tiles are also available in shades of blue. If you use both colours for one design, you can, for example, work water and plants separately.
