Rayher Renaissance wax-coated glass beads have a glass core, are waxed 7 times and lacquered twice. You can thread them into necklaces, sew them on or use them to make jewellery, bead angels and stars. One tin contains 25 beads of Ø 8.0 mm. Choose your colour from the options.

According to Rayher, the surface is lightfast, sweat-proof and abrasion-resistant. That matters if you wear jewellery directly on the skin or the beads are often on the move. You can clean them by hand washing at 30 °C.

Which size to choose

At 8 mm, the beads sit in the middle of the Renaissance range, which runs from 3 to 12 mm. On a necklace they look noticeably more prominent than small beads, yet they are still easy to handle. If you are planning a long necklace, work out the number of beads: threaded closely together, 25 beads come to roughly 20 cm, which is about enough for a bracelet. For more length you will need several tins. You can combine the beads with smaller sizes from the series as spacer beads.
