Grey Felt Furniture Glides with Nail, 8 Pieces, Ø 20 mm

Felt Glides with Nail – Floor Protection for Chairs and Tables

Felt glides with a nail protect your floors and furniture legs: you hammer them in under chairs, tables and other furniture. Furniture then slides more easily across the floor, and the noise made when you push it back and forth is reduced. The pack contains 8 grey glides, each 20 mm in diameter.

The glides are suitable for wooden chair and table legs on smooth indoor floors. With a thickness of 8.5 mm and a nail length of 14 mm, they sit firmly in the wood.

Fitting the glides

Turn the piece of furniture over and place the glide centrally on the underside of the leg. Hammer the nail in straight until the felt lies flat against the wood. With thin legs, first check that the glide does not overhang the edge and that the nail is centred.

Check regularly

Dirt or worn felt glides can damage the floor. So check from time to time that the felt is clean and still thick enough, and replace the glides if necessary.
