Efco Mosaix-Fix – mosaic adhesive for tiles on many surfaces

With Efco Mosaix-Fix mosaic adhesive, you can stick mosaic tiles to wood, metal, glass, plastic, ceramic and leather. The adhesive is water-based and weatherproof. You apply it straight from the bottle. Choose your size from the options.

The adhesive can be applied in two ways: as a single dot directly on the tile, or over a whole area with a brush. A dot of adhesive is practical for larger tiles and individual motifs. Applying it over an area works better if you want to set many small tiles at once.

How to stick mosaic tiles

Cut off the plastic nozzle or pierce it, and apply the adhesive straight from the bottle. Put a dot of adhesive on the mosaic tile, place it on the surface and press it down lightly. Leave a gap of at least 1–2 mm between the tiles so there is room for the grout later.

• Applying over an area: use a brush to spread the adhesive in a layer approx. 1 mm thick.
• Work larger areas in sections so that the adhesive does not dry before the tiles are in place.
• Stick objects with steep sides while they are lying flat so that the tiles do not slip.

Grouting and cleaning

Once the adhesive has dried, mix the grout and apply it evenly with a spatula. Clean tools and brushes with soap and water.
