Efco Latex Paste – strengthens a liquid latex mould skin

Efco latex paste for mould making is a water-based paste that you use to strengthen a mould skin made from liquid latex. You apply it with a spatula over the latex layer you have already made, giving the mould more stability.

The paste suits glove moulds and relief moulds built up with liquid latex. It is available in several sizes, which you choose from the options. This lets you match the quantity to the size of your mould.

Strengthening the mould skin

Apply the latex paste to the mould skin only once the liquid latex has dried. Then apply it to the thickness you want and smooth it with a little water. This lets you reinforce thin areas of the mould where needed, without rebuilding the whole skin.

• Apply the liquid latex and leave to dry completely
• Apply the paste to the dry mould skin with a spatula
• Smooth the surface with a little water
