Efco Mobilefolie transparent – clear PVC sheet for stencils and model windows

The Efco Mobilefolie is a transparent, colourless PVC sheet for stencils and for windows in model making. The sheet measures 330 × 430 mm and is 0.2 mm thick.

As the sheet is clear, you can see templates and the surface beneath through it. This helps when transferring motifs and when fitting it accurately as a window pane.

Making a stencil

Place the sheet over your template and trace the outline with a waterproof pen. Cut out the motif on a cutting mat with a craft knife or scissors. A plastic stencil can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and used several times, provided the paint on it has not yet dried.

Windows in model making

Measure the window opening and cut the sheet slightly larger so that it is held in place behind the frame. A sheet of 330 × 430 mm gives you several panes from one piece. Test the glue on an offcut first, as some adhesives leave marks on transparent sheet.
