Getting a good embossed result

Roll the dough out evenly and do not make it too thin, so that the embossing stays visible. Chilled dough keeps its outline better when cutting. For sticky mixtures, lightly dust the cutter with flour or cornflour; for fondant and marzipan, use cornflour or icing sugar. Press the cutter straight down and carefully release the cross. The cutting edge is sharp, so handle the cutter with care when cleaning it.

Choosing from the range and notes

The cross is also available in 7 cm in the series. At 5.5 cm, this cross is the smaller version for biscuits, cake decoration or salt dough pendants. If you use the cutter for FIMO or modelling clay, do not use it for food afterwards. Wash it thoroughly after use and dry it.
