da Vinci PRIMO 5019 children's paint brush set – round and flat brush

da Vinci PRIMO set 5019 – two learner brushes for school, hobby and therapeutic work

The da Vinci PRIMO series 5019 set contains two synthetic-fibre brushes for small hands: a round brush no. 12 with a fine tip and a flat brush no. 16 with a chisel edge. You get everything for lines, details and larger areas in one pack, for school, hobby and therapeutic work.

The fibres are soft, springy, hold their shape and do not shed. The seamless aluminium ferrule does not rust and holds the brush head firmly on the handle. The short wooden handle is finished with a water-based varnish and slightly flattened, so the brush does not roll off the table. Choose the handle colour from the options.

Which brush for what?

Use the round brush no. 12 for lines, dots and details, as the fine tip is easy to control. The flat brush no. 16 covers larger areas with its chisel edge and makes clean edges, for backgrounds or rectangles, for example. Both brushes are intended for water-soluble paints such as tempera on paper or card.

Care

After painting, rinse the brush thoroughly with water, reshape the fibres and leave it to dry. This keeps the tip or the chisel edge in good condition for a long time.
