Prym Professional curved embroidery scissors – for fine embroidery and lacework

The Prym Professional embroidery scissors (art. no. 611516) are small, curved scissors for fine embroidery and lacework. They snip threads cleanly and cut openings in fabric. They are also suitable for Hardanger work. The stainless steel blades are made by KAI and the handle is plastic.

At 10 cm long, the scissors are so compact that they take up hardly any room in your sewing box.

Using the curved tip

The curved blade tip lets you work close to the fabric. You can trim thread ends right back without catching the cloth. To do this, hold the scissors as flat against the fabric as possible and guide the tip away from the embroidery.

Hardanger and cut-out areas

In Hardanger embroidery, you cut out the fabric threads only once the embroidered blocks are completely worked. Place the blades right against the edge of the stitching and cut in small steps so that you do not cut into the embroidery. The blades are sharp, so store the scissors safely.
