Prym Hemming Ruler 30 × 10 cm – Press Hems and Curves Right on the Ruler

The Prym hemming ruler measures 30 × 10 cm and helps you press hems, cuffs, pockets or curves evenly. You measure, mark and press in a single step: fold the fabric around the heat-resistant ruler at the right depth and press it on the ruler.

Two rounded corners with a 3 cm and a 4 cm radius make it easier to mark circles and curves. The ruler is transparent, thin and flexible, so you can see the fabric underneath.

Pressing a hem

Fold the hem edge around the ruler to the depth you want, so that the fabric sits against the straight edge. Then press along the ruler. For curves, such as pocket corners, fold the fabric around the rounded corner and press it into shape. As the ruler is only heat-resistant up to 3 dots on the iron, do not set the iron any higher, even if your fabric could take more heat.
