Clover large point protectors – keep stitches safe on circular knitting needles

You fit the large Clover point protectors (art. no. 3005) onto the tips of circular knitting needles so that no stitches slip off when you put your work down. They also fit single-pointed knitting needles. The pack contains 4 pieces made of synthetic rubber.

Because the protectors cover the needle tips, you can tuck a work in progress into your bag together with the needles, without the needles spreading apart. They suit needle sizes from 5.0 to 10 mm, which corresponds to US 8 to 15.

Using the point protectors

Slide one protector onto each tip of the circular needle whenever you stop knitting. This keeps the stitches on the needle. Do not force thick needles into the protector, as this can affect its elasticity. If you use needles outside the 5–10 mm range, you will need a different protector size.
