Prym white polyester iron-on mending fabric – repair tears and holes

With Prym polyester mending fabric (art. no. 929451) in white, you can repair tears and holes in clothing made of polyester and lightweight fabrics. The card holds one piece of fabric measuring 12 × 45 cm, from which you cut patches to the size you need. The adhesive coating holds the fabric firmly on the garment once ironed on. It is washable up to 40 °C.

How to apply the patch

Cut the patch so that it covers the hole all the way round, and round off the corners so that they lift less when worn and washed. Place it adhesive side down on the damaged area and iron it on, using an iron setting suited to the garment. On areas that take a lot of wear, such as knees and elbows, you should also sew the patch on with a few stitches so that it holds reliably.
