Pebaro school weaving loom 25 cm – solid beech wood loom to assemble yourself
The Pebaro school weaving loom with a 25 cm weaving width is a weaving loom made of solid beech wood for classic weaving, school projects and hobby crafts. It comes unassembled, and you put it together yourself following the instructions. A comb and two shuttles are included, so all you still need is yarn.
The weaving width of approx. 25 cm sets the maximum width of your fabric. That is enough for coasters, table runner strips, bands or small wall hangings. The loom is made in Germany.
Weaving with the loom
First assemble the loom following the instructions. Then stretch the warp threads evenly across the weaving width, as loosely tensioned threads make the fabric wavy. Use the shuttle to pass the weft thread alternately over and under the warp threads, and use the comb to push each row up against the previous one. Lay the weft thread in with a slight curve and do not pull it taut. Otherwise the fabric pulls in at the edges and ends up narrower than the warp.
Choosing the right size
The 25 cm weaving width sits between the smaller looms and the larger ones for wider pieces. The Pebaro range also includes school weaving looms with a weaving width of 17, 20, 30 and 40 cm. The wider the loom, the larger the piece you can make. You will also need correspondingly more yarn and time.
