Pebaro school weaving loom 20 cm – beech loom to assemble
The Pebaro school weaving loom with a weaving width of approx. 20 cm is made of solid beech for school, handicraft and hobby use. It is supplied unassembled, with a comb, two shuttles and instructions for use. Once assembled, you can start weaving straight away.
With a 20 cm weaving width, you can make narrow pieces such as bands, bookmarks or small coasters. The size is easy to manage and well suited to first weaving projects. The loom is made in Germany.
Weaving step by step
First assemble the loom following the enclosed instructions. Then tension the warp threads evenly, as uneven tension gives a wavy fabric. Wind the weft thread onto a shuttle and lay it in with a slight curve rather than pulling it tight. Press each row down with the comb. The most common mistake is pulling the weft too tight: the edges then draw in and the piece becomes narrower at the top than at the bottom.
Which weaving width?
With a 20 cm weaving width, the loom stays handy for small projects. For wider pieces, the series includes school weaving looms with a weaving width of 25, 30 and 40 cm, and one with 17 cm for narrower work.
