AMI Empty Metal Watercolour Box for 12 Half Pans

AMI Empty Metal Watercolour Box – Put Together Your Own Palette

The empty metal box from AMI holds 12 half watercolour pans, or alternatively 6 full pans. It lets you put together your own palette, for example from effect colours that you can otherwise only buy individually.

The box is black lacquered on the outside and white on the inside. The lid can be used as a mixing surface, and a fold-out mixing palette is also included. With the thumb ring you can hold the box in your hand while painting.

Filling the box

Place the pans in the holder inside the box. One full pan takes the space of two half pans. Mix colours on the lids and on the fold-out palette. Let any wet paint residue dry on the mixing surfaces before you close the box, otherwise the lid and pans will stick together.

Who is this box for?

If you want to combine colours of your own choice, such as effect and basic colours from different ranges, this box gives you the right basis. The colour pans are bought separately.
