The Faber-Castell JUMBO Grip Neon set contains 5 extra thick, water-soluble colouring pencils in neon colours. The pencils have an ergonomic triangular shape with a patented grip zone. They sit securely in the hand and are less likely to slip while you colour.

Thanks to the special bonding, the pencils are particularly break-resistant. The colours can be washed out of most textiles. Each pencil has a name field, so you can tell your pencils apart from other people's at school, for example.

Using the water-soluble pencils

You can use the pencils dry, like ordinary colouring pencils. If you go over the colour with a wet brush, it dissolves and looks like watercolour paint. Apply the colour a little more heavily and use only a little water so the paper does not soften. Thicker paper is better suited to watercolour effects than thin copy paper.

Which set to choose

This set contains neon colours only. Other JUMBO Grip sets from Faber-Castell are available, for example, in pastel colours or with more pencils. Choose the neon set if you want to add bright accents.
