The COSMIC BLUE set from Caran d'Ache contains 10 metallic colouring pencils with a soft lead for shimmering touches of colour on paper. Working with the metallic pencils

Use the metallic colours dry. They stand out most clearly on dark paper, for example for stars, highlights, lettering or ornaments. On light paper they look more subtle. The soft lead gives smooth colour application. With light pressure you add fine accents, and with several layers you build up stronger areas. Test the colours first on an offcut of your paper to see how strong the metallic effect is.
